Chakia, Bihar

Chakia is one of the important towns in Purvi Champaran (East champaran) district in the state of Bihar, India. It is situated on the bank of the Buddhi Gandak river.
Chakia now is a rapidly growing town. Chakia has old and famous temples like Baudhi devi and Balkhana devi and Hanumaan mandir etc.

In context of railway, Chakiya comes in New Delhi-Muzaffarpur route. SaptKranti Superfast train passes Chakiya station on daily basis.
Kesariya Bodh Stup is nearby, one can reach to Kesariya from Chakiya in just 30 minutes.
